Talent Show

Performances ranging from dancing to lip-synching were highlights of the recent Talent Show created by members of the Chuck Hill unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. There was an audience of more than 100 enthusiastically greeted the performers, who competed for cash awards.

First place went to Travis, who put on a very energized dance performance. Second place was won by Color Guard a group of six Club members, Trinity, Auzariah, Danisha, Elshia, Salome and Lyrionna, who danced gracefully with ribbons, while Trinity, Jatavia and Ellisha dancing to Formation Remix by DJ Taj took third place and Quanell lip-synching to “Happy” by Pharell was given the Fan Favorite award, winning the largest number of audience votes.

The event also included drummers and singers. The event was created and sponsored by Port St. Lucie businesses ACCH Insurance Agency; Sweet Life Realty Group; O’Connor-Hall Law Firm; and Tradition Family Chiropractic.

“These youth are our future. I am so happy to be a part of celebrating them,” Angela Hayle from ACCH Insurance said. The Chuck Hill Unit is one of five neighborhood Clubhouses operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs in St. Lucie County. The organization also operates 12 sites based in St. Lucie County schools.
