Partner Spotlight - Busch Family Foundation
We are thrilled to present our
Partner Spotlight to the Busch Family Foundation
Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County are blessed to have the Busch Family Foundation as a partner that will bring an entirely new branch of success on the BGC tree.
The Club teens have been presented with an amazing opportunity of workforce preparedness with the ‘Learn & Earn’ program. The Club teens will soon be learning the nuances of the foodservice industry with the purchase of the new ‘Learn & Earn’ food trailer! Working in the food truck will be more than flipping burgers and making sandwiches. This opportunity will allow them to learn real-world skills with food preparation, inventory control, finance, budgeting, cross-contamination knowledge, and the ever-important category that will follow them through their entire lives…customer service.
Thanks to the Busch Family Foundation’s contributions our teens have been afforded a great path to LEARN a series of lifelong skills as well as EARNing a paycheck for themselves.
