Leslie Kristof, Keiser University’s Port St. Lucie Campus President has been named Board Member of the Year for 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast.

As a 501(c) 3 non-profit agency, 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is into its fifth decade of providing a team of specially trained staff to assist callers through its  211 HelpLine with crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information, assessment and referral to community services, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Kristof was selected from a total of 70 Board Members.

“It was a total surprise. I saw the other nominees and I had no expectation of receiving the award. Preparing youth for their futures is a personal mission and it aligns with my role with Boys & Girls Clubs,” stated Kristof.

She is committed to serving the community works with several other local non-profits, including the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County.  Kristof was recently voted president elect of the organization. She also served as Board Chair of the Annual Steak & Stake fundraiser which has raised over $150,000 under her leadership.

As President of Keiser University’s Port St. Lucie Campus, Kristof is responsible for all campus operations while managing approximately 90 faculty and staff members as they serve over 700 students.

Kristof is also active with the St. Lucie County Education Foundation and as a Board Member of the St. Lucie County Economic Development Council.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
