Two young members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County were winners in the annual Easter coloring contest sponsored by Bruno’s Chocolate Creations. A club director also won in the adult coloring category.

Naila S., a member of club’s Chuck Hill Clubhouse, won in the Under 10 category. Kalei D., a fifth-grader at the Oak Hammock Boys & Girls Club, was named the winner in the 11 to 17 category. Pierra Catalano, director of the club’s Manatee Boys & Girls Club, won in the Adult category.

Winners received a Bruno’s chocolate Easter bunny as a prize. In addition, Bruno’s provided other club members with bags of jelly beans to complement their efforts.

“The coloring contest is another example of the way Bruno’s and its owners, Val and Doug Anderson, give to the community,” said William Armstead, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County CEO. In this case they not only gave the prizes, but they organized a contest that provided hours of imaginative fun for many of our members and people throughout the community.”

Bruno’s Chocolate Creations, 2650 U.S. 1, Fort Pierce, has been providing confections to the Treasure Coast since 1952. The Andersons have owned the company for more than 30 years.
