Terrio Group Steak & Stake Check

The 7th Annual Steak & Stake Gala, presented by The Terrio Group, was a successful and enjoyable event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. Guests attended the Gala at Treasure Coast Lexus on October 25th to meet Club members, enjoy a steak dinner and bid on a multitude of unique auction items, helping to raise over $73,000.

Event Co-Chairs, Angelique Lyons and Michael Terrio put on a one-of-kind event for the over 300 guests. “I am so thankful to have been part of this incredible event. The amazing things that these children accomplish daily should inspire the uninspired” said Co- Chair Michael Terrio. Club member Phabiola Alcinnet who sang Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All and Mariah Carey’s Hero provided entertainment. The Children’s Services Council received the Award for Caring, and guest were able to hear 2014 Youth of the Year, Cody Hatt’s story, followed by 2009 Youth of the Year and Club alumnus, Kiki Noble who updated everyone on her many accomplishments. “The 7th Annual Steak & Stake Gala was a huge success. Not only did the event raise needed resources for the Clubs, it also gave us a chance to introduce the guests to our greatest treasure – the young members of the Boys & Girls Clubs.” Said Co-Chair Angelique Lyons.

This year’s Steak & Stake’s presenting sponsor was The Terrio Group, Retirement Planning Solutions. The Steak & Stake Dinner brought in more than $73,000 thanks to the generosity of the corporate sponsors and guests. These funds will be used to support programs that benefit over 3,000 local youth who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County every year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth with a world class Boys & Girls Club experience, assuring that success is within reach for every young person who walks through our doors, and that every Club member graduates high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship and living healthy lifestyles.
