Annual Celebration and Youth of the Year Competition

A celebration with stakeholders to recognize annual achievements of St. Lucie County Boys & Girls Clubs. Guests will also enjoy our Youth of the Year premiere recognition program for four teen finalists from St. Lucie County, FL competing for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s Youth of the Year title. Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Clubs member can receive.

Once they have completed the program, they will have the chance to participate in the Youth of the Year selection process. Youth who embody excellence in the areas of academics, character, citizenship, and healthy lifestyles are recognized at the local, state, regional, and national level. One exceptional teen is then selected to be National Youth of the Year, serving as an ambassador for Boys & Girls Clubs youth as well as a voice for the nation’s young people.

For more information on attending or participating in this event please contact Cynthia Sanchez at csanchez@bgcofslc.org or (772) 742-3240
