Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is committed to developing leaders!
Through our “Into the Future” Teen Initiative Program, 13-18 year olds have the opportunity to identify their interests, explore various career paths, and prepare for their futures. We have programs that provide teens with hands-on experience and job shadow opportunities, as well as one-on-one personal development and individual learning.
From resume writing to applicable trade skills, the “Into the Future” Teen Initiative Program encompasses all of the components that are vital in preparing teens for success. Through in-Club activations and partnerships with community leaders, we aim to shape our teens into the leaders of tomorrow.

Percy Peek Club member, Jherry, is just one of many successes that has been partnering with local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Owner & Operator of Kyle G’s Prime Seafood & Steaks, Kyle Greene, is a long-time supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, and was more than willing to take Jherry under his wing.

Workforce Readiness Bench Build 2023
During spring break, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s Workforce Readiness teens got their hands dirty with members of the Florida Carpenters Union Training Department. As part of learning skills to use in trades, eight Club members worked hard to build three park benches, one of which will be donated to the Copas Veterans Nursing Home in Tradition.
