With a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a master’s degree in public relations and mass communication from the
University of Florida, Gleockler possesses a solid educational foundation and passion for community engagement.
Her exemplary skills and commitment to the organization’s mission earned her a full-time position in 2022 within the Resource Development department as the Public Relations Coordinator before taking on her new role, further
solidifying her commitment to serving St. Lucie County youth. Her extensive background in marketing, public
relations, and community outreach positions her well to spearhead the communication efforts of the organization.
“It is such an honor to take on building this new department and sharing the impact that Boys & Girls Clubs has on
our members and the community as a whole,” says Gleockler. “As we look to the future of our organization and St.
Lucie County, there are so many opportunities for growth, and I look forward to being a part of that.”
The establishment of the Communications Department and the appointment of Marissa Gleockler as the Vice
President of Communications reflect the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s commitment to adapt and grow
along with the expanding county. By effectively disseminating information and fostering connections, the organization will be better positioned to serve an increasing number of children and teens in the community.
