Change 4 ChangeBoys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County will be collecting “Change” for their Clubs from February 27 through March 8th at the St. Lucie County Fair. There will be containers placed at several locations at the fair for donations to be made. This year, the Club is celebrating its’ 20th year serving youth in the community and is hosting this fundraiser to continue changing the lives of kids who need us most.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is asking the public to help the organization reach more kids and put them on the path to a GREAT FUTURE. You can support the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County by brining all your loose change to the St. Lucie County Fair & support the 20th Anniversary
20 for 20 Campaign.

Here in St. Lucie County 6,118 youth received services through our Clubs, with 2,168 young people participating in homework assistance programs and 1,029 youth were served through our truancy program. With an average daily attendance of 1,400 kids each day, the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County provided over 79,000 meals and over 188,000 snacks, and 91% of our youth successfully completed 2 prevention programs that helped them develop the skills to avoid negative behaviors such as alcohol, tobacco and drug usage, while avoiding gangs. 1,576 kids participated in daily fitness and recreation programs and our teens completed 11,512 community service hours for an economic value to the community of $148,044.
