The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is asking the public to help the organization reach more kids and put them on the path to a GREAT FUTURE. Here in St. Lucie County 6,118 youth received services through our Clubs, with 2,168 young people participating in homework assistance programs and 1,029 youth were served through our truancy program. With an average daily attendance of 1,400 kids each day, the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County provided over 79,000 meals and over 188,000 snacks, and 91% of our youth successfully completed 2 prevention programs that helped them develop the skills to avoid negative behaviors such as alcohol, tobacco and drug usage, while avoiding gangs. 1,576 kids participated in daily fitness and recreation programs and our teens completed 11,512 community service hours for an economic value to the community of $148,044.
