Club-members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie’s (BGCSLC) Infinity Clubhouse in Fort Pierce began their Thanksgiving celebration early.  On the Friday before the holiday break, the young men and women enjoyed grilled turkey, ham, hot dogs, snacks, beverages, and a handful of games and activities.

Excitement abounded with the arrival of Southern Eagle Distributing‘s Lee Small and Steve Butala, representatives of the Busch Family Foundation, pulled up with a truck bearing frozen turkeys, sparkling Ice drinks, candy and cupcakes, and more. They enlisted the assistance of several club members to get to work bagging each turkey that would shortly go home to families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday.

“The Busch Family Foundation and Southern Eagle Distributing have been providing turkeys to our families that are most in need for many years,” said Melanie Wiles, C.O.O. of BGCSLC.  “Philip Busch and his team always put this special party together for our Club-Kids.”

Director of Development Jack Barrett added, “Without their continued support, many of our families would not be able to celebrate this wonderful holiday.  Thanks to the generosity of the Busch Family Foundation, we can bring smiles to their faces.”
