Opioid Apocalypse – Bringing our community BACK TO LIFE

January 15 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Opioid drug abuse is prevalent in many areas of a teen’s life whether it is by friends or family. Understanding the signs of abuse and how to cope is a pressure our youth are fighting every day. Our partners will be providing tools and resources that make a difference.

Our partners at Tykes & Teens, Foundations Wellness Center, and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office will be providing tools through their presentations regarding Opioid abuse. BGC Teens are part of a program called Project B.O.O.M. (Broadening Opioid Outcry Message). The presentations will be interactive and engaging in ways to understand the importance of opioid abstinence and seeing the signs where they can provide positive influences for family and friends that may be in need.

Prizes (including a flat-screen TV) will be awarded by raffle after completion of the demos.
