3 Immediate Openings for the following PART-TIME Positions:

Program Instructors – KIDSTOP programs at various schools in Port Saint Lucie.

  • Job Description: Program Instructors are responsible for monitoring and supervising member activity while following and implementing the daily schedule in a safe, structured environment. Instructors should always be actively involved with members to build a lasting relationship. Some shifts will be split. For example, an individual might work 7-8:30am and then return in the afternoon from 2:30-5:30pm.
  • *Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 Teen Assistant – Ken Pruitt Unit, Port Saint Lucie
  • Job Description: In collaboration with the Teen Director, responsible for the implementation of programs focused around the Core Areas of Character & Leadership, Education & Career, Health & Life Skills, The Arts and Sports & Fitness for the teen & tween population which consists of 10-18 year olds.
  • *Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training in the field of Youth Development.

  • Education Director – Ken Pruitt Unit, Port Saint Lucie  
    • Job Description: Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Youth Development Specialist plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities around the Core Area of the Education. Create activities that will enable youth to develop in the area of education and to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully.
    • *Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training in the field of Youth Development.
